2022 V.League 1
The 2022 V.League 1, known as the Night Wolf V.League 1 ( vi, Giải bóng đá Vô địch Quốc gia Night Wolf 2022) for sponsorship reasons, was the 66th professional season of the top-flight football league in Vietnam. The season started on 25 February 2022, and ended on 20 November. There was no defending champion as a result of the previous season being abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There was a break from 14 March until 2 July to accommodate for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification and the delayed 2021 Southeast Asian Games. Hanoi FC won their 6th league title on 13 November with one match to spare. Song Lam Nghe An Football Club (), simply known as Song Lam Nghe An or SLNA, is a professional V.League 1 Football team, football club playing at the Vinh Stadium in the city of Vinh, Nghệ An, Nghe An province, Vietnam. The club was named based on the Lam river. With 10 major titles totally, SLNA is the one of the most successful football club in Vietnam. In the international arena, the team performed well at the AFC Champions League in 2001. Hanoi Football Club () is a Vietnamese professional football club based in Hanoi, Vietnam that competes in the V.League 1. The club currently plays in the V.League 1. Hanoi FC was founded in 2006 as T&T Hanoi Football Club, shortened as Hanoi T&T before renamed to Hanoi T&T Football Club in 2010 and finally to its current name in 2016. The club has participated in the V.League 1 since the 2009 season. The club has been regarded as the first fully professionalized club in the country and the most successful club in Vietnamese football. Football At The 2021 Southeast Asian Games
The football tournament at the 2021 Southeast Asian Games was held from 6 to 22 May 2022 in Vietnam. In addition to the host city Hanoi, matches were held in Việt Trì, Nam Định and Cẩm Phả. Associations affiliated with FIFA may send teams to participate in the tournament. There were no age restrictions on women's teams. For men's teams, with the postponement of the Games from 2021 to 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the age limit was raised from under-22 (set since 2017) to under-23 (born on or after 1 January 1999) with a maximum of three overage players allowed. Hòa Xuân Stadium
Hòa Xuân Stadium ( vi, Sân Vận Động Hòa Xuân) is a football-specific stadium in Da Nang, Vietnam. It is located in Cam Le District, just outside of the main city centre. The stadium has been the home of Association football, football team SHB Đà Nẵng F.C. since 2016. The stadium has a capacity of 20,500. Construction Construction began in 2013 and was completed in 2016 at an estimated cost of 281 billion Vietnamese đồng. The stadium replaced the previous stadium of SHB Đà Nẵng F.C., Chi Lăng Stadium from the beginning of the 2016/17 V.League 1 season. References
