Aslan Karatsev Sydney 2022
Aslan () is a major character in C. S. Lewis's ''The Chronicles of Narnia'' series. Unlike any other character, he appears in all seven chronicles of the series. Lewis, vol iii, p 160: "I found the name slan..it is the Turkish for Lion. ... And of course it meant the Lion of Judah." The word ''aslan'' means "lion" in Turkish. Role in ''The Chronicles of Narnia'' '' The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe'' Aslan is first mentioned by Mr. Beaver when the Pevensie children arrive in Narnia. He is described by Mr. Beaver as being the true king of Narnia who has returned to help the Pevensies to free Narnia of the White Witch's rule. Mr and Mrs. Beaver gui ...
