The 2022 Sugar Bowl was a college football bowl game played on January 1, 2022, with kickoff at 8:45 p.m. EST (7:45 p.m. local CST) and televised on ESPN. It was the 88th edition of the Sugar Bowl, and was one of the 2021–22 bowl games concluding the 2021 FBS football season. The Caesars Superdome, commonly known as the Superdome (formerly known as Mercedes-Benz Superdome), is a multi-purpose stadium located in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana.
