2022 Scheldeprijs
The 2022 Scheldeprijs was the 110th edition of the Scheldeprijs road cycling one day race, which was held on 6 April 2022. It was a 1.Pro event on the 2022 UCI ProSeries. The race, which was long, started in Terneuzen in the Netherlands and traveled through the windy fields of Zeeland before crossing the border into Belgium and finishing in Schoten on the outskirts of Antwerp. The Scheldeprijs is known as a race that particularly suits the sprinters as it includes several cobbled roads but no significant climbs. However, the race was won in an unusual solo victory by Alexander Kristoff riding for , when he attacked 7.4 kilometers from the finish and was able to distance the chasing group due to a strong headwind. Danny van Poppel () outsprinted Sam Welsford () for second, finishing 24 seconds behind Kristoff. 2022 UCI ProSeries
The 2022 UCI ProSeries is the third season of the UCI ProSeries, the second tier road cycling tour, below the UCI World Tour, but above the various regional UCI Continental Circuits. The original calendar consisted of 56 events, of which 30 are one-day races (1.Pro), and 26 are stage races (2.Pro). 2022 UCI Europe Tour
The 2022 UCI Europe Tour was the eighteenth season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2022 season began on 23 January 2022 with the Trofeo Luis Puig, Clàssica Comunitat Valenciana 1969, and concluded on 16 October 2022 with the Chrono des Nations and the Veneto Classic. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determines how many points are awarded to the top finishers, the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points are awarded. Ryan William Mullen (born 7 August 1994) is an Irish professional bicycle racing, racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Born in Birkenhead, England, Mullen attended Ysgol Eirias in Colwyn Bay, Wales. Jasper Philipsen (born 2 March 1998) is a Belgian professional cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . Career In July 2019, he was named in the startlist for the 2019 Tour de France. In October 2020, he was named in the startlist for the 2020 Vuelta a España, where he won stage 15. Daniel "Dan" McLay (born 3 January 1992) is a British racing cyclist, competing in road, track and cyclo-cross, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam .
