The 2022 Oregon Ducks baseball team represents University of Oregon in the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Ducks play their home games at PK Park and are members of the Pac-12 Conference. The team is coached by Mark Wasikowski in his 3rd season at Oregon. Mark Wasikowski
Mark P. Wasikowski is an American college baseball coach, currently serving as head coach of the Oregon Ducks baseball team. Wasikowski was a third baseman at Hawaii, Rancho Santiago and Pepperdine and was on the team that won the 1992 College World Series. He later earned All-West Coast Conference honors twice and was a team captain as a senior in 1993. Following the 1993 season, Wasikowski was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers, but he opted to stay at Pepperdine to complete his bachelor's degree. Beginning in 1997, Wasikowski was a graduate assistant at Southeast Missouri State University. Upon completion of the 1998 season, Wasikowski was named an assistant at Florida, where he was reunited with his former coach, Andy Lopez. Wasikowski would go with Lopez to Arizona, where he spent 10 season with the Wildcats. In 2012, Wasikowski was hired to be an assistant at Oregon. The 2022 Arizona State Sun Devils baseball team represented Arizona State University during the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Sun Devils played their home games at Phoenix Municipal Stadium as a member of the Pac-12 Conference. They were led by head coach Willie Bloomquist, in his 1st season at ASU. Previous season The Sun Devils finished with a record of 33–22, and 16–14 in conference play. Goss Stadium at Coleman Field is a college baseball park in the northwest United States, on the campus of Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. It is home to the Oregon State Beavers of the Pac-12 Conference. Through the 2014 season, OSU had an all-time record of at the venue. The 2022 Oregon State Beavers baseball team represented Oregon State University in the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Beavers played their home games at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field as members of the Pac-12 Conference. The team was coached by Mitch Canham in his third season at Oregon State. Preseason The Beavers entered the season ranked in the Top-25 by four major poll organizations and were picked to finish second in the Pac-12 preseason coaches poll. Pac-12 tournament Oregon State finished second in the final regular season conference standing and earned the #2 seed in the inaugural Pac-12 baseball tournament. The Beavers put together a good run at the Pac-12 tournament, battling their way to the championship game before falling to Stanford. Joe Etzel Field
Joe Etzel Field is a 1,300 seat baseball stadium in Portland, Oregon that is home to the University of Portland Pilots baseball team. Originally named Pilot Field, it was renamed after former coach Joe Etzel in 2004. Completed in 2005, the Andy Pienovi Hitting Facility is the baseball team's practice facility. It is located in foul territory in left field. Preliminary campus expansion plans include moving the baseball field from its current location to one down on the waterfront in the Triangle Park property. Those plans were abandoned in 2013 with plans to instead renovate the existing stadium. The school has since added artificial turf and lighting.
