The 2022 Ole Miss Rebels baseball team represented the University of Mississippi in the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Rebels played their home games at Swayze Field. Previous season The Rebels finished 45–22, 18–12 in the SEC to finish in third place in the West division. They hosted and won the Oxford Regional as the No. 12 national seed before falling to No. 5 Arizona in game three of the Tucson Super Regional. Mike Bianco
Michael F. Bianco (born May 3, 1967) is an American baseball coach and former catcher, who is the current head baseball coach of the Ole Miss Rebels baseball, Ole Miss Rebels. He played college baseball at Indian River Community College before transferring to LSU Tigers baseball, LSU where he played for coach Skip Bertman from 1988 to 1989. Bianco served as the head coach of the McNeese State Cowboys baseball, McNeese State Cowboys (1998–2000) before being named head coach at Ole Miss. He has led the Rebels to two College World Series appearances (2014 College World Series, 2014 and 2022 College World Series, 2022), with Ole Miss winning their first national championship in 2022. Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field is a baseball venue in Hammond, Louisiana, United States. It is home to the Southeastern Louisiana Lions baseball team of the NCAA's Division I Southland Conference. The facility has a capacity of 2,500 spectators. It is named after Pat Kenelly, the longest tenured baseball coach in program history. Kenelly also served as athletic director and both assistant and head football coach in his time at the university, 1948–1977. The diamond was dedicated to him on February 19, 2006. Trustmark Park
Trustmark Park is the home of the Mississippi Braves, the Southern League (1964–present), Southern League Double-A (baseball), Double-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves and is located in Pearl, Mississippi, USA. The ballpark, which opened April 18, 2005, has capacity for 8,480 fans. There are 5,500 chair-back chair, seats in the reserved seating areas. 2022 Southern Miss Golden Eagles Baseball Team
The 2022 Southern Miss Golden Eagles baseball team represented the University of Southern Mississippi in the sport of baseball for the 2021 college baseball season. The Golden Eagles competed in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and in Conference USA. They played their home games at Pete Taylor Park in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The team was coached by Scott Berry, who was in his thirteenth season with the Golden Eagles. Kentucky Proud Park is a baseball stadium in Lexington, Kentucky. It is the home field of the University of Kentucky Wildcats college baseball team. Opened in 2018, with the Wildcats playing their first season in the stadium in 2019, it has a permanent capacity of 2,500, with grass berm seating adding more than 1,500 to the total capacity.
