2022 Marshall Thundering Herd Football Team
The 2022 Marshall Thundering Herd football team represents Marshall University during the 2022 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Thundering Herd plays their home games at the Joan C. Edwards Stadium in Huntington, West Virginia, and compete in the East Division of the Sun Belt Conference. The team is coached by second-year head coach Charles Huff. This is their inaugural season in the Sun Belt Conference after spending the previous 17 seasons as a member of Conference USA. Previous season The Thundering Herd finished the 2021 season 7–6, 5–3 in C-USA play to finish in second place in the East Division.
