2022 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Baseball Team
The 2022 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team represented the University of Louisiana at Lafayette during the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Ragin' Cajuns played their home games at M. L. Tigue Moore Field at Russo Park and were led by third–year head coach Matt Deggs. They were members of the Sun Belt Conference. Matt Deggs
Matt Deggs (born August 20, 1971) is an American baseball coach and former infielder, who is the current head baseball coach for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. He played college baseball at Alvin Community College (1991–1992) then transferred to Northwood University (1993–1994) before playing professional baseball for 3 season from 1995 to 1997. He then served as the head coach of the Sam Houston State Bearkats (2015–2019). Playing career Deggs played college baseball at Alvin Community College before transferring to Northwood University and a brief professional career with the Mobile BaySharks and the Tennessee Tomahawks for three years. Coaching career Deggs became an assistant coach at Northwestern State for two seasons. He completed his undergraduate degree at Northwestern State then became head coach at Texarkana. Bishop Shanahan High School
Bishop Shanahan High School is located in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. It's part of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia's Catholic school system. Named after Right Rev. John W. Shanahan, the third bishop of Harrisburg, the school is the only archdiocesan high school in Chester County. Construction of the current building began in 1996. It opened in 1998, and the first class graduated from it in 1999. The school had previously been located in West Chester, Pennsylvania. In June 2008, Bishop Shanahan celebrated its 50th anniversary with the graduation of its 50th senior class. John W. Shanahan Shanahan was born in 1846 in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. White Oak, Texas
White Oak is a city in Gregg County, Texas, United States. It was incorporated in 1960. The population was 6,225 as of 2020. History In the late 1800s White Oak was a small farming community with three sawmills located on thick forested land. By 1884, there were 15 families living in the area and either working at the large sawmills or farming the land. A small school was built near Hawkins Creek which doubled as a church. The school burned to the ground in 1885 due to suspected arson. A new school was established in 1887. Local land owners, Andrew J. Tuttle and his father-in-law, John Bumpus, gathered a group of men in the area to erect a new school. Mr. Tuttle's uncle, Pleas Harris, and Kaleb Bumpus donated ground near a spring on which to build the new school. Benton is a town in, and the parish seat of, Bossier Parish, in the U.S. state of Louisiana. The population was 2,048 in 2020. Wylie High School is a public high school located in Abilene, Texas, United States. It is the sole high school of the Wylie Independent School District. Saint Albans High School (West Virginia)
Saint Albans High School is a public high school in Kanawha County, West Virginia, United States. Founded in 1909, it is located in the city of St. Albans. It is one of the eight public high schools in Kanawha County Schools. SAHS opened a newly renovated facility for the 2004 school year. History The school was founded in 1913 by Charles P.
