2022 Las Vegas Raiders
The 2022 season is the Las Vegas Raiders' 53rd season in the National Football League, their 63rd overall, their third in Las Vegas and their first under the head coach/general manager tandem of Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler. The Raiders look to return to the playoffs in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2001 and 2002 when the franchise was based in Oakland. However, the Raiders suffered their worst start since 2018, with a 2–6 record to start the season, due in large part by giving up leads by at least 17 points in three games. The Raiders failed to improve on their 10–7 record from the previous season after a Week 14 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The team lost despite leading the Rams 16–3 midway through the fourth quarter, marking their fourth loss after leading by at least 10 points. Offseason Front office changes On January 17, the team announced that general manager Mike Mayock had been fired after three years with the team. On January 30, the Raid ...

2021 Denver Broncos Season
The 2021 season was the Denver Broncos' 52nd season in the National Football League and the 62nd overall. It was also the final season under the ownership of Pat Bowlen's estate. 2021 marked the first season since 2011 in which John Elway did not serve as general manager, as he relinquished those duties shortly after the end of the 2020 season. Elway remained part of the Broncos' personnel, as the president of football operations, and led the hiring of new general manager George Paton. The Broncos started 3–0, albeit against teams who would combine for a 11–40 record (New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Jets), but after that, the Broncos' performance was memorably bad, going 4–10 the rest of the way, including losing their last four games. The Broncos' slightly improved on their 5–11 record from 2020, but missed the playoffs for a sixth consecutive season and suffered their fifth consecutive losing season—both the second-longest in franchise history fol ...
