2022 Japanese Regional Football Champions League
The 2022 Japanese Regional Football Champions League ( 全国地域サッカーチャンピオンズリーグ2022) was the 46th edition of the referred annually contested cup for the best-placed teams of each of their respective Regional Leagues, and of the 2022 Shakaijin Cup. Criacao Shinjuku was the title holder, as winners of the 2021 edition of the tournament. Promoted to the JFL, the club couldn't defend their title. Briobecca Urayasu won the championship at the final round, being promoted to the Japan Football League years after relegated from it on 2017. Finishing as runners-up, Okinawa SV was also promoted to Japan's 4th division for the first time in their history. Format As usual, 12 teams participated in the transitional tournament for regional league teams who want to join the JFL. Briobecca Urayasu
are a Japanese football (soccer) club based in Urayasu, Chiba. They will play from the 2023 season at the Japan Football League, coming back to the league after being relegated from it in 2017. It will be their second time playing at Japan's 4th division. History Founded in 1989 as ''Urayasu Junior Football Club'', the team was established in Chiba Prefecture. The name refers to a mix composed by ''Brionac'', a spear appeared in Celtic mythology, and ''Becca'', a one-seater ship used to collect nori, a Japanese cuisine delicacy, typical of that region. The mascot – Maiko Becca – was presented in 2017, one year after drawing its design. A JFL membership was granted in 2016, the season where Briobecca gained promotion to the 4th tier. is a Japanese football league covering the Tōhoku region, the 6 prefectures of Akita, Aomori, Fukushima, Iwate, Miyagi and Yamagata. FC Tokushima
are a Japanese football club based in Yoshinogawa, Tokushima. They currently play in the Shikoku Soccer League, which part of Japanese Regional Leagues. History The club was founded on 2003 as ''Celeste FC''. It didn't take long for the club to gain promotion to the Tokushima Prefectural League 1st division, this occured in 2006. Since then, the club never went back to the 2nd division. On 2012, after winning the Tokushima Prefectural League, FC Tokushima qualified to the Shikoku Prefectural League Final Tournament, facing the other 3 prefectural championships winners of Ehime, Kochi, and Kagawa, as the four prefectures comprises the Shikoku region. The club won the tournament, therefore, getting promoted to the Shikoku Soccer League. Fukuyama City FC
are a Japanese football club based in the eastern part of Hiroshima, centered on the city of Fukuyama. They play in the Chūgoku Soccer League, which part of Japanese Regional Leagues. Arterivo Wakayama
is a football (soccer) club based in Wakayama, the capital city of Wakayama Prefecture in Japan. They play in the Kansai Soccer League, which is part of Japanese Regional Leagues. Since the 2022 season, after being relegated from the Japan Football League, they are playing in the Tōkai Adult Soccer League History The club was founded in 1949 as Nippon Denso Soccer Club. Artista Asama
is a football (soccer) club based in Tōmi, located in Nagano Prefecture in Japan. They play in the Hokushinetsu Football League, which is part of Japanese Regional Leagues. History The club was founded in 1982 and currently has been managed by a non-profit organization, Artista Dream Project, which took the helm of the club in March 2010.
