2022 Italian GT Championship ...
The 2022 Italian GT Championship was the 31st season of the Italian GT Championship, the grand tourer-style sports car racing founded by the Italian automobile club (Automobile Club d'Italia). The Championship consisted of four Sprint race events and four Endurance race events. At each Sprint race event there were two races. The Season started on 23 April at Monza and ended on 23 October at Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello. Italian GT Championship
The Italian GT Championship (''Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo'') is an Italian sports car series founded in 2003 and organized by the Automobile Club d'Italia (ACI) and the Commissione Sportiva Automobilistica Italiana (CSAI). It replaced a previous supercar-based championship which ran from 1992 until 2002 when it was folded due to a lack of entrants. The series borrowed heavily from the international FIA GT Championship in its first few seasons, although additional entries from Ferrari Challenge, Porsche Supercup, and Maserati Trofeo competitors were allowed. Following the 2006 season, the top GT1 class was dropped from the championship, leaving competitors in the GT2, GT3, and GT Cup classes. GT2 competition is dominated by the Ferrari F430, with several Porsche 911 GT3s as well. Rubens Barrichello
Rubens "Rubinho" Gonçalves Barrichello (, ; born 23 May 1972) is a Brazilian professional racing driver who competed in Formula One between and . He currently competes full-time in the Brazilian Stock Car Pro Series, driving the No. 111 Toyota Corolla E210 for Full Time Sports. He scored 11 Grand Prix wins and 68 podiums. Following stints with the Jordan and Stewart teams, Barrichello drove for Ferrari from to as Michael Schumacher's teammate, finishing as championship runner-up in and , and third in , while contributing to five constructors' titles for the team. At the end of 2005 Barrichello left Ferrari to drive for Honda. In 2009, he finished third in the Drivers' Championship for Brawn GP, as his teammate Jenson Button won the driver's championship, and the team won the constructors' title. José Manuel Urcera
José Manuel "Manu" Urcera (San Antonio Oeste, Río Negro Province; July 9, 1991) is an Argentine motor racing driver. Urcera started his motorsport career in motocross. In 2012 he debuted at TC Mouras with JP Racing and Turismo Nacional (TN) Clase 2. The next year he made his debut at TC Pista and was vice-champion in 2014, which gave him promotion to Turismo Carretera (TC). In 2016 he debuted in Súper TC 2000 with the Fiat Argentina team. In 2016, Urcera got his first wins in both championships. The next year he qualified for the TC play-offs for first time and went on to the Citroën STC2000 team. In 2018 he debuted in TN Clase 3. Urcera was the 2019 TN Clase 3 champion with a Honda Civic from the Larrauri Competición team. At the same time, he was TC vice-champion behind Agustín Canapino.
