2022 Italian Athletics Championships
The 2022 Italian Athletics Championships was the 112th edition of the Italian Athletics Championships and took place in Rieti, Lazio (Stadio Raul Guidobaldi), from 24 to 26 June. The Italian championships of the men's and women's 35 km racewalk took place in Pescara on January 16. The Cross-country Italian Championships, cross country championships took place in Trieste on 12 and 13 March. The 10,000m championships took place in Brescia on May 1. Raul Guidobaldi Stadium
Stadio Raul Guidobaldi is an athletics (sport), athletics stadium located in Rieti, Italy. Every year since 1971 the stadium hosts the Rieti Meeting; it also hosted the European Athletics Junior Championships, 2013 European Athletics Junior Championships. Dalia Kaddari
Dalia Kaddari (born 23 March 2001) is an Italian athlete sprinter who specialises in the 200 metres. She won a gold medal at the 2021 European U23 Championships. Kaddari is also a two time Italian champion in the event. At the age of 17, Kaddari was the 2018 Youth Olympic 200 m silver medallist. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, in 200 m. Biography Kaddari was born on 23 March 2001 in Cagliari, Sardinia, to an Italian mother and Moroccan-born father. Growing up, she set consecutive Italian records in her signature event of the 200 metres. Aged 17, she won a silver medal at the 2018 Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires with a national under-18 best time of 23.45 seconds. In 2019-20, she set national indoor under-20 records, ultimately lowering it to 23.85 s. Yemaneberhan "Yeman" Crippa (born 15 October 1996) is an Ethiopian-born Italian long-distance runner. He won the gold medal in the 10,000 metres and bronze for the 5000 metres at the European Athletics Championships in 2022, and bronze in the 10,000 m in 2018. She competed in the women's 3000 metres event at the 2021 European Athletics Indoor Championships.
