Iga Świątek defeated Sofia Kenin in the final, 6–4, 6–1 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2020 French Open. It was Świątek's first major title and first WTA Tour singles title overall, making her the first player since Jeļena Ostapenko to win a major tournament as their first singles title.
