Michal (; he, מיכל , gr, Μιχάλ) was, according to the first Book of Samuel, a princess of the United Kingdom of Israel; the younger daughter of King Saul, she was the first wife of David (), who later became king, first of Judah, then of all Israel. The Green Party ( cs, Strana zelených, lit=Party of Greens) is a green political party in the Czech Republic. History The Green party was founded in 1990 following the return to liberal democracy in Czechia following the Velvet Revolution. However, the party remained on the political margins until Jaromír Štětina was able to capture a seat in the Senate (upper house of the Parliament of the Czech Republic) in 2004. It was during this time that the Greens campaigned on pacificism (rejecting the idea that any foreign military power should have military bases in the Czech Republic) and greater incorporation of grassroots democracy in the country. 2021 Czech Legislative Election
Legislative elections were held in the Czech Republic on 8 and 9 October 2021. All 200 members of the Chamber of Deputies were elected, with the leader of the resulting government to become the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic. Following the 2017 Czech legislative election, the country has been ruled by a minority government consisting of ANO 2011 (ANO), led by prime minister Andrej Babiš, and the Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD), led by interior minister Jan Hamáček, with confidence and supply support from the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSČM) until April 2021.
