2022 Fast5 Netball World Series
The 2022 Fast5 Netball World Series was the tenth staging of the Fast5 Netball World Series, and the seventh to be played under the Fast5 rules, which replaced the older fastnet rules introduced in 2009. The tournament was held in New Zealand for the fourth time. The host city Christchurch was awarded hosting rights for the 2022 and 2023 tournaments, with matches played at the Christchurch Arena. The 2022 tournament marked the return of this format to international netball since 2018, with a men's competition also held for the first time. Matilda McDonell (born 22 June 2000) is an Australian netball player in the Suncorp Super Netball league, playing for Giants Netball. Tilly McDonell was contracted by the Giants ahead of the 2019 season. Debbie Fuller (netball)
Debbie Fuller (née Matoe) is a New Zealand netball coach and former international netball player. Fuller was a defender in the New Zealand national netball team, the Silver Ferns, from 1993 to 1996, during which time she competed at the 1995 Netball World Championships in Birmingham. Fuller retired from the Silver Ferns after 1996, spending a year in Argentina. She returned for the 1997 provincial season, and the following year captained Canterbury in the inaugural National Bank Cup. Fuller moved to the Capital Shakers in 1999, playing with the Wellington-based side until her retirement in 2002. After coaching stints in Wellington and the Bay of Plenty, Fuller accepted a position as a defensive coach with ANZ Championship side the Northern Mystics for the 2009 season, under new head coach Te Aroha Keenan. Samantha Winders (born 5 June 1995), previously known as Samantha Sinclair, is a New Zealand netball international. She represented New Zealand at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and was a prominent member of the New Zealand team that won the 2021 Constellation Cup. Kimiora Poi (born 1 November 1997) is a New Zealand netball international. She was a member of the New Zealand teams that won the 2017 Netball World Youth Cup, the 2018 Fast5 Netball World Series and the 2021 Constellation Cup. Between 2017 and 2020, she was a prominent member of the Central Pulse team that won the 2018 Super Club title and the 2019 and 2020 ANZ Premiership titles. Kristiana Manu'a (born 3 September 1995) is a New Zealand-born Australian netball player in the ANZ Premiership, playing for the Central Pulse. Manu'a was born in Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand, though moved with family to Liverpool, New South Wales as a baby.
