2022 FC Edmonton Season
The 2022 FC Edmonton season was the eleventh and final season in the history of FC Edmonton. In addition to the Canadian Premier League, the club competed in the Canadian Championship. The club was run directly by the CPL as the league searched for a new owner. FC Edmonton
FC Edmonton was a Canadian professional soccer club based in Edmonton, Alberta. The club was founded in 2010 and competed in the North American Soccer League (NASL) from 2011 to 2017. The club went on hiatus when NASL ceased competitive operations before the cancelled 2018 season. FC Edmonton competed in the Canadian Premier League from the league's inaugural season in 2019 until 2022. From 2012 onward, FC Edmonton's home field had been Clarke Stadium. Terique David Mohammed (born January 27, 2000) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays for Lexington in USL League One. Club career Toronto FC In 2016, Mohammed joined the academy of Major League Soccer side Toronto FC. In 2018, he played for Toronto FC III and Toronto FC II, and on September 27, 2018, he signed professional terms with the latter for the 2019 season. Felix N'sa (born September 25, 2003) is a Canadian soccer player who plays for the Thunder Bay Chill in USL League Two. Early life N'sa played youth soccer with CS Panellinios. In 2020, he went on trial with Pacific FC of the Canadian Premier League. Club career In November 2020, he signed a multi-year professional contract, beginning in the 2021 season, with York United FC of the Canadian Premier League. However, he suffered an injury during pre-season, which caused him to miss the entire 2021 season. In February 2022, he went on loan to fellow CPL club FC Edmonton. After still rehabbing from his previous injury upon his arrival to Edmonton, he made his professional debut on October 8, 2022 against Valour FC. Wesley-Thomas Lança Timóteo (born April 9, 2000) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Canadian Premier League club HFX Wanderers. Early life Timoteo was born and raised in Montreal to parents of Portuguese descent.
