The 2022 FC Dallas season was the Major League Soccer club's 27th season and first under new head coach Nico Estévez. FC Dallas continues to use Toyota Stadium as their home stadium and participated in the U.S. Open Cup tournament after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. FC Dallas is an American professional Association football, soccer club based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The club competes as a member of the Western Conference (MLS), Western Conference in Major League Soccer (MLS). The franchise began play in 1996 as a charter club of the league. The club was founded in 1995 as the Dallas Burn before adopting its current name in 2004. The 2021 FC Dallas season was the club's 26th season in Major League Soccer, the top tier of American soccer. On September 19, Luchi Gonzalez was relieved of duties as head coach. Alan Velasco
Alan Agustín Velasco (born 27 July 2002) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a winger for Major League Soccer club FC Dallas. Club career Velasco started his career in the youth system of Independiente, having joined the club in 2012. He was promoted into their first-team, aged sixteen, towards the end of the 2018–19 campaign, with the winger initially appearing as an unused substitute for a Copa Sudamericana second stage encounter with Rionegro Águilas on 21 May 2019. Lucas Bartlett
Lucas Allen Bartlett (born July 26, 1997) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Major League Soccer club D.C. United. Career Early career Barlett attended St. James Academy in Kansas, where he was a four-year varsity starter, earning Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year and an NSCAA All-American honors as a senior, to go along with Defensive Player of the Year accolades for the state of Kansas. Allocation money, in Major League Soccer, represents an amount of money that teams may use to sign players and/or allocate to their salaries to get under the salary cap. Generation Adidas is a joint venture between Major League Soccer and U.S. Soccer aimed at raising the level of young professional soccer talent in the United States. The Saint Louis Billikens men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of Saint Louis University. The Saint Louis Billikens compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I. Soccer is the main fall sport at SLU, which has not sponsored football since 1949. Isaiah Parker (born September 1, 2002) is an American soccer player who plays for North Texas SC of MLS Next Pro on loan from FC Dallas. Career Youth and college Parker joined the Chicago FC United academy in 2016, and played with the academy team throughout high school.
