2022 F4 Spanish Championship
The 2022 F4 Spanish Championship is the seventh season of the Spanish F4 Championship. It is a multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations, based in Spain. It is the first season to use the Tatuus T-021 car. It is also the first full season in which the series is partnered with the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy. Entry list Campos Racing and MP Motorsport split their teams in order to follow the four-car limit per entrant. * Andrea Frassineti was scheduled to compete for Cars Racing, but withdrew prior to the start of the season. * Lola Lovinfosse was originally scheduled to compete for GRS Team, but switched to Teo Martín Motorsport prior to the start of the season. F4 Spanish Championship
The F4 Spanish Championship ( es, Campeonato de España de Fórmula 4) is an FIA Formula 4 racing series. The championship was planned to launch in 2015, though the inaugural season was cancelled and delayed until 2016. Koiranen GP was the promoter of the championship for the first two seasons. The current promoter is Agrupación Deportiva F4 Spain. History Gerhard Berger and the FIA Singleseater Commission launched the FIA Formula 4 in March 2013. The goal of the Formula 4 is to make the ladder to Formula 1 more transparent. Besides sporting and technical regulations, costs are regulated too. A car to compete in this category may not exceed €30.000 in purchase. A single season in Formula 4 may not exceed €100.000 in costs. MotorLand Aragón (alternative Spanish name: Circuito de Alcañiz) is a race track used for motorsports located in Alcañiz, Spain. The circuit was designed by German architect Hermann Tilke in conjunction with the British architectural business Foster and Partners. Formula One driver Pedro de la Rosa was a technical and sporting consultant on the project. The facility has been designed to incorporate three main zones – a technology park, a sports area and a leisure and culture area. Fun Cup
The Fun Cup is a one-make racing series created by Franz Dubois in 1997 in Belgium. The cars are identical, 180 bhp, 799 kg (1700 lb) Volkswagen Beetle replicas with all major components sealed to ensure the cars are technically identical and of equal performance. The tyres are a standard road radial which is specified to the series, and is run in both wet and dry. The series is renowned for the competitiveness of the racing, as well as the friendliness and ease in which one can enter the races. It is, however, known mostly for the cost of entering; the Fun Cup is one of the cheapest options to involve oneself in motor racing. Cars cost around £29,600, which is usually split between the drivers. The races last mostly between three and six hours, split between a team of two or more drivers, so driving time in the Fun Cup is more than 8 times that offered by other series. Circuit De Spa-Francorchamps
The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (), frequently referred to as ''Spa'', is a motor-racing circuit located in Stavelot, Belgium. It is the current venue of the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix, hosting its first Grand Prix in 1925, and has held a Grand Prix every year since 1985 (except 2003 and 2006). Spa also hosts several other international events including the 24 Hours of Spa, the World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.
