Evin Demirhan Yavuz (born 2 July 1995) is a Turkish freestyle wrestler competing in the 50 kg division. She is a member of Ankara Aski Spor Club. She won the gold medal at the 2022 European Wrestling Championships. Early life Demirhan was born into a crowded family in poverty in Siirt, southeastern Turkey on 2 July 1995. A pin, or fall, is a victory condition in various forms of wrestling that is met by holding an opponent's shoulders or scapulae (shoulder blades) on the wrestling mat for a prescribed period of time.
