2022 ERA Championship
The 2022 Software AG ERA Championship, formally known as the 2022 Electric Racing Academy Championship was a motor racing championship for open wheel, all-electric formula racing cars. This was the inaugural and so far, final season of the championship. It became a one-race championship at Circuit Zolder after many scheduling issues. Teams and drivers All drivers competed with identical Mitsu-Bachi F110E chassis based on the Dome F110 Formula 4 chassis, powered by a 130KW motor, with a 24KWh battery and Goodyear tires. Race calendar On 14 January, the provisional calendar was announced. The series supported the 2022 FIA ETCR - eTouring Car World Cup at all of its races. On 22 February 2022, it was announced that Istanbul Park would host the first round instead of the Istanbul Street Circuit. 2022 FIA ETCR – ETouring Car World Cup
The 2022 FIA ETCR – eTouring Car World Cup was the second and last season of the Touring car racing, touring car series for electric cars known as Pure ETCR Championship in its inaugural season in 2021 Pure ETCR Championship, 2021. The season began on 6 May 2022 at the Pau Grand Prix, Circuit de Pau-Ville and ended on 25 September 2022 at Sachsenring. Adrien Tambay succeeded teammate Mattias Ekström as the drivers' champion, while Cupra Racing, Cupra EKS repeated its manufacturers' title. In March 2023, the promoter announced that the series would not be continued. Istanbul Park
Intercity Istanbul Park ( tr, İstanbul Park), also known as the Istanbul Racing Circuit or initially as the Istanbul Otodrom, is a motor sports race track in the Tuzla, Istanbul, Tuzla district of Istanbul, Turkey. It was designed by the well-known racetrack architect Hermann Tilke and was inaugurated on 19–21 August 2005. It has been called "the best race track in the world" by former Formula One Chief Executive Bernie Ecclestone, who held the managing rights of the circuit between 2007 and 2011. The circuit has been currently managed by the Turkish company Intercity since 2012. Electric motorsport is a category of motor sport that consists of the racing of electric powered vehicles for competition, either in all-electric series, or in open-series against vehicles with different power trains. Vallelunga Circuit
The Autodromo Vallelunga Piero Taruffi is a racing circuit situated north of Rome, Italy, near Vallelunga of Campagnano. Vallelunga was built as a sand oval in 1951. From 1963 the circuit held the Rome Grand Prix, and in 1967 a new loop was added when the track became the property of the Automobile Club d'Italia (ACI). Further refurbishment was undertaken in 1971. The track is named for the famous Italian racing driver Piero Taruffi. In August 2004 work started on a extension to the track, bringing the track up to its current length. The new configuration has received homologation from the FIA as a test circuit, being used by various Formula One teams. The circuit has also hosted the 6 Hours of Vallelunga endurance event. The track is also used by ACI for public driving safety training courses and, in autumn of each year, hosts a vast flea-market specialising mainly in vintage automotive spare parts. Circuito Del Jarama
The Circuito del Jarama (Circuit of Jarama), formerly known as ''Circuito Permanente del Jarama'' (Permanent circuit of Jarama) is a motorsport racetrack located in San Sebastián de los Reyes, 20 miles (32 km) north of Madrid. It was home to the Spanish Grand Prix nine times between 1968 and 1981, and the Spanish motorcycle Grand Prix 15 times between 1969 and 1988. Designed by John Hugenholtz (who also created Suzuka), the circuit was built by Alessandro Rocci in 1967 on arid scrub land. Hungaroring
The Hungaroring is a motorsport racetrack in Mogyoród, Pest County, Hungary where the Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix is held. In 1986, it became the location of the first Formula One Grand Prix behind the Iron Curtain. Bernie Ecclestone wanted a race in the USSR, but a Hungarian friend recommended Budapest. They wanted a street circuit similar to the Circuit de Monaco to be built in the Népliget – Budapest's largest park – but the government decided to build a new circuit just outside the city near a major highway. Construction works started on 1 October 1985. It was built in eight months, less time than any other Formula One circuit. FIA ETCR – ETouring Car World Cup
FIA ETCR – eTouring Car World Cup is a touring car series for electric cars. During the inaugural season in 2021, the series called itself Pure ETCR and featured cars from three manufacturers competing at five different locations. Starting with the 2022 season, ETCR becomes an official FIA series. History The electric touring car series was presented together with the CUPRA 'e-Racer' car ahead of the 2018 Geneva Motor Show by TCR promoter WSC Ltd. In September 2019, Hyundai became the second manufacturer to commit to creating an ETCR car, the 'Veloster N ETCR', and in December the Italian team Romeo Ferraris announced that they will build an Alfa Romeo Giulia according to ETCR specifications.
