2022 Circuit Franco-Belge
The 2022 Eurométropole Tour was the 81st edition of the Eurométropole Tour and the sixth edition since it became a one day race. It was held on 10 August 2022 as part of the 2022 UCI ProSeries calendar. This edition was the race's second in the UCI ProSeries. Teams 8 of the 19 UCI WorldTeams, seven UCI ProTeams, and five UCI Continental teams made up the 20 teams that participated in the race. In total, 139 riders started the race. The 2022 UCI ProSeries is the third season of the UCI ProSeries, the second tier road cycling tour, below the UCI World Tour, but above the various regional UCI Continental Circuits. The original calendar consisted of 56 events, of which 30 are one-day races (1.Pro), and 26 are stage races (2.Pro). There are 47 events in Europe, six in Asia, two in the United States, and one in Argentina. 2022 UCI Europe Tour
The 2022 UCI Europe Tour was the eighteenth season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2022 season began on 23 January 2022 with the Trofeo Luis Puig, Clàssica Comunitat Valenciana 1969, and concluded on 16 October 2022 with the Chrono des Nations and the Veneto Classic. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determines how many points are awarded to the top finishers, the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points are awarded. Bryan Coquard
Bryan Coquard (born 25 April 1992) is a French cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He was a silver medalist at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the Omnium. Career Youth and amateur career Coquard began cycling in 1999 at the age of seven, at the US Pontchâteau club. In September 2008, aged sixteen, he joined CREPS Bordeaux, where he was coached by Éric Vermeulen. In 2009, Coquard won the gold medal in the omnium at the UCI Juniors World Championships, as well as winning the scratch at the European championships. He retained his Junior Omnium crown in 2010, winning four of the six events, he also finished second in the Scratch Race. Due to his track success, in June 2011 Coquard signed a contract with for the start of the 2013 professional road season. Greg Van Avermaet (born 17 May 1985) is a Belgian professional cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Considered one of the most versatile riders of modern cycling, Van Avermaet is a specialist of the classic cycle races, but has also won stages and the general classification in stage races, particularly when run on a hilly terrain, such as the 2016 Tirreno–Adriatico, and the 2018 Tour de Yorkshire. His strong sprint finish enables him to win sprints of small lead groups, but he has also won races after solo breakaways.
