2022 Chicago Fire FC Season
The 2022 Chicago Fire FC season is the club's 27th year of existence, as well as their 25th in Major League Soccer. On November 24, 2021, the Fire announced Columbus Crew assistant coach Ezra Hendrickson as the new head coach, making him the tenth full-time head coach in club history. The Fire would start the season 2-0-3 through their first five games (good enough for 9 points), their best start since 2009. Boris Sekulić
Boris Sekulić ( sr-Cyrl, Борис Секулић; born 21 October 1991) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Polish club Górnik Zabrze. Born in Serbia, he represents the Slovakia national team. Club career Born in Zemun, Sekulić started his career playing in the youth team of local club FK Zemun. In 2009 he became senior and played on loan at Grafičar Beograd. Next season he signed with Beograd. In the summer of 2011 he moved abroad to Slovakia and joined Košice at the age of 19. North Carolina Tar Heels Men's Soccer
The North Carolina Tar Heels men's soccer team represents the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in men's NCAA Division I soccer competition. They compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Tar Heels won the NCAA championship in 2001 and 2011. History The UNC men's varsity soccer team was founded in 1947 by Dr. Marvin Allen, the team's first coach. Before the team had only been at the club level. Dr. Allen led the team until 1977 when the current UNC women's soccer team coach Anson Dorrance took over. Dorrance spent 12 successful seasons with the men's team until 1988. One of the main reasons for his retirement from the men's team was to focus on the women's program, which he had begun coaching while he was the men's coach. Mauricio Pineda (born October 17, 1997) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defensive midfielder for Major League Soccer club Chicago Fire. Club career College and youth Pineda was part of the Chicago Fire academy, before attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he played college soccer from 2016 to 2019, making 79 appearances, scoring 17 goals and tallying 8 assists. Wyatt Omsberg
Wyatt Omsberg (born September 21, 1995) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Major League Soccer club Chicago Fire. Career Youth and college Omsberg grew up in Scarborough, Maine and played soccer at Scarborough High School, where he helped lead the Red Storm to a Class "A" State Championship in 2012 & 2013.
