ISU Challenger Series
The ISU Challenger Series is a series of international figure skating competitions. Established by the International Skating Union in the 2014–15 season, it is a group of senior-level events ranked below the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Each event consists of at least three disciplines out of four ( men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing), and is required to take place between August 1 and December 15. The ISU Challenger Series Synchronized Skating is a separate competition series in the discipline of synchronized skating. History The ISU Council decided to create the series at its February 2014 meeting. Eleven competitions were selected in June 2014. The Triglav Trophy dropped out by October 10, 2014, resulting in a series composed of ten events. The International Skating Union (ISU) is the international governing body for competitive ice skating disciplines, including figure skating, synchronized skating, speed skating, and short track speed skating. Edward Appleby
Edward Appleby (born 21 December 2004) is an English figure skater. He is the Junior Grand Prix France II 2021 bronze medalist, 2020 Mentor Toruń Cup junior men's champion, and two-time British junior national champion. Personal life Edward Appleby was born in Colchester, England. His older brother, Elliot, is also a figure skater and competes in men's singles and pairs skating. Thomas Nabais
Thomas Nabais (born 25 May 2000) is a French ice dancer. With his skating partner, Marie Dupayage, he is the 2023 World University Games champion and has won three bronze medals at ISU Challenger Series events (2022 CS Nepela Memorial, 2022 CS Warsaw Cup, and 2023 CS Warsaw Cup). Maé-Bérénice Méité (; born 21 September 1994) is a French figure skater. She is the 2011 Ondrej Nepela Memorial champion, the 2016 International Cup of Nice champion, the 2015 Winter Universiade silver medalist, and a six-time French national champion. She has finished in the top six at three European Championships and represented France at the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics. She is currently the 30th highest ranked ladies' singles skater in the world by the International Skating Union following the 2019-20 figure skating season. Maïa Mazzara (born 5 August 2003) is a French figure skater who currently represents France in ladies singles and formerly represented Switzerland. She is a two-time French national silver medalist. Aleksandr Selevko (born 23 May 2001) is an Estonian figure skater. He is the 2017 Egna Spring Trophy bronze medalist, the 2019 Nordics bronze medalist, and a three-time Estonian national champion (2020–22). He has competed in the final segment at five ISU Championships – two World Junior Championships (2016, 2020), two European Championships (2019, 2020) and once at World Figure Skating Championships (2021). He is the older brother of Mihhail Selevko, who also represents Estonia internationally in figure skating.
