2022 A-Leagues All Stars Game
The 2022 A-Leagues All Stars Game was the third edition of the A-Leagues All Stars Game, and the first since the 2014 Game. It was held at Accor Stadium in Sydney on 25 May 2022 against Spanish club Barcelona. Barcelona won the game 3–2. The game was televised in Australia on Network 10. Pre-match Having not played an All Stars game since the 2014 edition against Juventus, on 6 April 2022, the A-Leagues announced the return of the concept for the match against Barcelona. It is the first time Barcelona has visited Australia. The game was in the same week as the 2022 A-League Men Grand Final. Players participating in the Grand Final did not play in the All Stars Game. On 27 April 2022, it was announced that former Sydney FC midfielder Dwight Yorke will coach the A-Leagues All-Stars. The 2021–22 A-League Men, known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons, is the 45th season of national level men's soccer in Australia, and the 17th since the establishment of the competition as the A-League in 2004. Heather Garriock
Heather Ann Garriock (born 21 December 1982) is an Australian former soccer player and coach. Garriock played as a midfielder in a career based mostly in Australia. Her last stint as a player was for Western Sydney Wanderers of the Australian W-League. Garriock played 130 matches for the Australian women's national team, appearing at two Olympic football tournaments and three FIFA Women's World Cups. Olivier Boumal
Olivier Boumal (born 17 September 1989) is a Cameroonian professional footballer who plays as an winger for Al-Merrikh SC. The team captain of an association football team, sometimes known as the skipper, is a team member chosen to be the on-pitch leader of the team; they are often one of the older or more experienced members of the squad, or a player that can heavily influence a game or has good leadership qualities. Jack Christian Rodwell (born 11 March 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays for Sydney FC as a centre-back or defensive midfielder. Rodwell joined Everton's academy at the age of seven, and made his debut in 2007. He spent five years in the first team before he transferred to Premier League champions Manchester City in 2012. Adrian Joseph Mariappa (born 3 October 1986) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for club Salford City. Born in England, he represents the Jamaica national team. He progressed through Watford's youth academy, and started playing for the first team in the 2005–06 season.
