2020–21 RCD Mallorca Season
The 2020–21 RCD Mallorca season was the club's 87th season in existence and the club's first season back in the second division of Spanish football. In addition to the domestic league, Mallorca participated in this season's edition of the Copa del Rey. The season covered the period from 20 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. Matthew Timothy Hoppe (born March 13, 2001) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Scottish Premiership club Hibernian, on loan from Middlesbrough, and the United States national team. Club career Youth career and Schalke 04 Hoppe played a single season with the LA Galaxy academy, before being released by the team. After playing for the Barça Residency Academy in Arizona, Hoppe signed with Schalke 04 in June 2019. On November 28, 2020, he made his professional debut for Schalke against Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Bundesliga. Antonio Sánchez (footballer, Born 1997)
Antonio Sánchez Navarro (born 22 April 1997) is a Spanish professional Association football, footballer who plays for RCD Mallorca as a central midfielder. Club career Born in Palma, Majorca, Balearic Islands, Sánchez represented RCD Mallorca as a youth. In August 2016, after finishing his formation, he was loaned to Tercera División side UD Poblense for one year. Sánchez made his senior debut on 20 August 2016, starting in a 3–1 away win against UD Rotlet Molinar. He scored his first goal on 29 October in a 2–1 win at CF Platges de Calvià, and scored a brace in a 6–2 home routing of Rotlet on 17 December. Abdón Prats Bastidas (born 7 December 1992), known simply as Abdón, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for RCD Mallorca as a forward. Club career Born in Artà, Balearic Islands, and a product of local RCD Mallorca's youth system, Abdón made his debut as a senior at the age of only 17, going on to spend several seasons in the Segunda División B with the reserves. Clément Jean Camille Grenier (born 7 January 1991) is a French professional footballer who plays for La Liga club Mallorca. He has also represented France at senior and across all youth levels. Franco Matías Russo (born 25 October 1994) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a central defender for Liga MX team Querétaro, on loan from Bulgarian First League club Ludogorets Razgrad. Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta Etxeberria (born 6 August 1993) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for RCD Mallorca mainly as a central midfielder. Brian Oliván Herrero (born 1 April 1994) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for club RCD Espanyol. Club career Born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Oliván graduated with FC Barcelona's youth ranks. Giovanni González
Giovanni Alessandro González Apud (born 20 September 1994) is a Uruguayan professional footballer who plays as a defender for La Liga club Mallorca and the Uruguay national team. Manuel 'Manolo' Reina Rodríguez (born 1 April 1985) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Málaga CF as a goalkeeper. Club career Born in Villanueva del Trabuco, Málaga, Andalusia, Reina was a product of hometown Málaga CF's youth system.
