2021–22 Oldham Athletic A.F.C. Season
The 2021–22 season is Oldham Athletic's 127th year in their history and fourth consecutive season in League Two. Along with the league, the club will also compete in the FA Cup, the EFL Cup and the EFL Trophy. The season covers the period from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022. It was the most disastrous season in the club's history, which resulted in relegation and loss of English Football League status after 115 years. Oldham is a large town in Greater Manchester, England, amid the Pennines and between the rivers Irk and Medlock, southeast of Rochdale and northeast of Manchester. Jay Enrique Rodriguez (born 29 July 1989) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Burnley. Rodriguez began his career with his hometown club Burnley, for whom he scored 41 goals in 128 appearances across all competitions from his debut in 2007. Callum Joseph Lang (born 8 September 1998) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for EFL Championship side Wigan Athletic Club career Wigan Athletic Lang joined Wigan Athletic in 2013, after progressing through the Liverpool youth ranks. Gwion Edwards
Gwion Dafydd Rhys Edwards (born 1 March 1993) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a winger for club Morecambe. He is a former Wales Under-21 international. Edwards joined the Swansea City academy in 2007, having previously spent three years at Aberystwyth Town. He spent seven years at Swansea, having graduated from the club's academy. During his time at Swansea he spent two spells out on loan at Scottish side St Johnstone and one with English side Crawley Town, before joining the later permanently in 2014. Hallam Robert Hope (born 17 March 1994) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for National League club Oldham Athletic. Born in England, Hope represents Barbados internationally after representing England up to under-19 level. He joined the Academy at Everton in 2005. He never played a senior game for the club, though spent brief loan spells at Northampton Town, Bury and Sheffield Wednesday in 2014, before joining Bury permanently in January 2015, who would end the 2014–15 season being promoted out of League Two. Bower Fold
Bower Fold in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester, England, is the home ground of Stalybridge Celtic football club and, intermittently, Oldham rugby league club. History There has been a ground at Bower Fold since 1906. The current main stand was built in 1996, with the covered stand at the Town End (Joe Jackson Stand) dating from 1994. The main stand replaced a wooden one dating from 1909, which held 500 fans, before being converted to tip-up seating with a reduced capacity of around 400 persons. The Lord Pendry Stand (named after the local politician Tom Pendry) opened in 2004, replacing a covered terrace dating from the 1950s. Ashton-under-Lyne
Ashton-under-Lyne is a market town in Tameside, Greater Manchester, England. The population was 45,198 at the 2011 census. Historically in Lancashire, it is on the north bank of the River Tame, in the foothills of the Pennines, east of Manchester. Evidence of Stone Age, Bronze Age, and Viking activity has been discovered in Ashton-under-Lyne. Zachary Harry Dearnley (born 28 September 1998) is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger for Ossett United.
