2021–22 Odisha FC Season
The 2021–22 season was Odisha FC's third professional season in the Indian Super League since their establishment in 2019. The 2021–22 Indian Super League season started from 19 November 2021. Overview On 6 May, the club announced the appointment of David Villa as the head of Global Football Operations. The club also announced the appointment of former head coach Josep Gombau and Victor Onate as the members of Technical committee. On 20 July, Odisha announced the appointment of Francisco "Kiko" Ramírez González as the head coach for 2021-22 Indian Super League season along with the appointment of Assistant Coach and Head of Football Development, Joaquin "Kino" Garcia Sanchez. Odisha Football Club () is an Indian professional football club based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, that competes in the Indian Super League, the top flight of Indian football. I-League 2nd Division
I-League 2, previously known as I-League 2nd Division and officially known as or Hero I-League 2 (for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp), is an Indian men's professional football league. It is the 3rd tier of Indian football, behind Indian Super League and I-League. It operates as a system of promotion with I-League (final qualifying phase of state leagues teams). In 2020, due to COVID-19 pandemic in India, the league format was changed into I-League Qualifiers. To avoid confusion with I-League being the second tier, the league was renamed to I-League 2 by AIFF in 2022. The 2nd Division league was introduced from the 2008 season, having been previously known as the National Football League 2nd Division. George Ricardo D'Souza (born 30 April 1994) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a left-back. Early life and career D'Souza was born on 30 April 1994 in Goa. D'souza started his youth career from Sanquelim based academy, Sesa Football Academy in 2010. Issac Vanmalsawma Chhakchhuak (born 15 September 1996) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Odisha in the Indian Super League. Lalruatthara (born 7 January 1995) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for I-League club Inter Kashi. Club career Early career Born in Mizoram, Lalruatthara attended trials for the Chandigarh Football Academy in 2009 and managed to make it. He was soon though rejected from the academy for unknown reasons, with even Lalruatthara being confused over his exclusion. Hyderabad Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Hyderabad, Telangana. The club competes in the Indian Super League, the top flight of Indian football. I-League
The I-League (known as Hero I-League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp) is the second-tier men's professional football competition of the Indian football league system. It is currently contested by 12 clubs across the country with the winners getting promotion to play in the premier division, the Indian Super League. The competition was founded in 2007 as the successor to the National Football League, with the first season starting in November 2007.
