The 2021–22 season was Odisha FC's third professional season in the Indian Super League since their establishment in 2019. The 2021–22 Indian Super League season started from 19 November 2021. Overview On 6 May, the club announced the appointment of David Villa as the head of Global Football Operations. The club also announced the appointment of former head coach Josep Gombau and Victor Onate as the members of Technical committee. On 20 July, Odisha announced the appointment of Francisco "Kiko" Ramírez González as the head coach for 2021-22 Indian Super League season along with the appointment of Assistant Coach and Head of Football Development, Joaquin "Kino" Garcia Sanchez. On 1 September, the club entered into a 3-year international partnership deal with Premier League club Watford. I-League 2nd Division
I-League 2, previously known as I-League 2nd Division and officially known as or Hero I-League 2 (for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp), is an Indian men's professional football league. It is the 3rd tier of Indian football, behind Indian Super League and I-League. It operates as a system of promotion with I-League (final qualifying phase of state leagues teams). In 2020, due to COVID-19 pandemic in India, the league format was changed into I-League Qualifiers. To avoid confusion with I-League being the second tier, the league was renamed to I-League 2 by AIFF in 2022. Lalruatthara (born 7 January 1995) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for I-League club Inter Kashi. The I-League (known as Hero I-League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp) is the second-tier men's professional football competition of the Indian football league system.
