Melbourne City Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in the south–eastern Melbourne suburb of Cranbourne East, that plays in the A-League, the top level of Australian soccer, under licence from Australian Professional Leagues (APL). Founded in 2009 as Melbourne Heart, the club competed under that name from its inaugural 2010–11 season until they were rebranded in mid-2014 by the City Football Group (CFG), in partnership with Holding M.S. 2020–21 Melbourne City FC Season
The 2020–21 season was the eleventh in the history of Melbourne City Football Club. The club competed in the A-League for the eleventh time. The club was scheduled to play in the 2021 AFC Champions League qualifying play-offs in June 2021, but withdrew from the competition on 4 June 2021. Review Background On 26 June 2019, Melbourne City appointed Frenchman Erick Mombaerts as new head coach leading the club in being runners-up in the 2019–20 A-League regular season, 2020 A-League Grand Final and 2019 FFA Cup. Tsubasa Endoh
is a Japanese professional footballer. College career Endoh played four years with Maryland Terrapins at the University of Maryland. In 2016, he attended the MLS Combine for draft-eligible players ahead of the 2016 MLS SuperDraft, where he was named MVP. Career Endoh was drafted as the ninth overall pick in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft by Toronto FC and signed with the club on 27 February 2016. Florin Berenguer
Florin Berenguer-Bohrer (born 1 April 1989) is a French professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Australian club Melbourne City FC. Club career Berenguer trained at the youth academy of Sochaux. He began his senior career in 2009 for Dijon FCO, playing in both Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. Aiden O'Neill
Aiden Connor O'Neill (born 4 July 1998) is an Australian professional soccer player who currently plays as a defensive midfielder for Standard Liège and the Australia national team. Born in Brisbane, O'Neill played youth football for Kenmore F.C. (now called UQFC), then Brisbane Athletic and Burnley before making his professional debut for the latter in 2016. He spent some time on loan to Oldham Athletic and Fleetwood Town, scoring his first ever professional goal for the latter club. Scott Robert Galloway (born 25 April 1995) is an Australian professional football (soccer) player who plays as a fullback for Melbourne City in the A-League.
