Pehčevo ( mk, Пехчево, is a small town in the eastern part of North Macedonia. It is the seat of Pehčevo Municipality. Pehčevo is known for its winter tourism. History In the late 19th and early 20th century, Pehčevo was part of the Kosovo Vilayet of the Ottoman Empire. In 1913, as a result of the Balkan Wars, the town became a part of the Kingdom of Serbia, which in 1918 joined the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (in 1929 renamed Kingdom of Yugoslavia).
