The 2021–22 Kategoria e Parë is the 74th official season of the Albanian football second-tier since its establishment. The season began on 11 September 2021 and ended on 7 May 2022. There are 16 teams competing this season. The winning and runner-up teams will gain promotion to the Kategoria Superiore, 2022-23 Kategoria Superiore. The promotion play-offs winner will play a promotion play-off match against the 8th ranked team of the 2021–22 Kategoria Superiore. KF Korabi Peshkopi
KS Korabi is an Albanian football club based in Peshkopi, named after the nearby Mount Korab, which is the tallest mountain in Albania and North Macedonia. The club's home ground is the Korabi Stadium. History Early history The club was founded in 1930 as ''Bashkimi Dibran Peshkopi'', and they competed in the Albanian First Division for the first time in 1936, where they were placed in Group B alongside Devolli Bilisht, and the eventual group winners Shkumbini Peqin. KF Tërbuni, also known as Tërbuni Pukë, is an Albanian Association football, football club based in the city of Pukë. The club's home ground is the Ismail Xhemali Stadium and they currently compete in the Kategoria e Dytë. History Early history The club was founded in 1936 but were not active until the 1940s. They first competed in a national championship in 1949, where they took part in the Albanian First Division, second tier championship. In their premier campaign they competed in group 3 of 13, which featured KS Veleçiku Koplik, Kopliku, Besëlidhja Lezhë, Lezha and the Shkodër, Shkodër agricultural enterprise, where the club competed under the name Puka. KF Partizani B is the B team of Albanian football club Partizani. History Partizani reserves (1948–1949) On 3 October 1948, the Albanian Football Association launched a new format for the Albanian Superliga and Albanian First Division as they adopted the western format of an autumn to spring league competition. A reserve team representing Partizani Tirana was created following this announcement, and they competed in 1948–49 Albanian First Division, where they won their first 5 games in a row before the competition was cancelled on 31 March 1949 by the Albanian Football Association due to Soviet pressure to leave the western format and return to the Soviet league format. Flamurtari FC is a professional football club based in Vlorë, Albania. The club plays in the Kategoria e Parë, which is the second tier of football in the country. Founded in 1923, the club is one of the oldest in Albania, and it is also one of the most successful clubs, having won one Albanian Superliga title in 1991 four Albanian Cups and two Albanian Supercups. Klubi i Futbollit Elbasani is an Albanian professional football club based in the city of Elbasan, that last competed in the Kategoria e Dytë, the third tier of football in the country. Kategoria e Dytë is the third professional level of football in Albania. It was called the ''Second Division'' until 2003. Kategoria e Dytë has two groups, A and B. which are divided geographically. It is made up of 23 teams. The winners of each group earn the right to be promoted to the Kategoria e Parë and they also play a single final for seasonal champions. KF Egnatia, also known as Egnatia Rrogozhinë, is an Albanian Football Association, Albanian football club based in Rrogozhinë. They play their home games at Rrogozhinë Stadium, which has a capacity of 4000 spectators.
