The 2021–22 season is Hartlepool United's 113th year in existence and their first season back in League Two after 4 years. Along with competing in League Two, the club will also participate in the FA Cup, EFL Cup and EFL Trophy. The season covers the period from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022. Hartlepool () is a seaside and port town in County Durham, England. It is the largest settlement and administrative centre of the Borough of Hartlepool. With an estimated population of 90,123, it is the second-largest settlement in County Durham. Hartlepool is locally administrated by Hartlepool Borough Council, a unitary authority which also administrates outlying villages of Seaton Carew, Greatham, Hart Village, Dalton Piercy and Elwick. Marcus Carver
Marcus Carver (born 22 October 1993) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Southport, on loan from Scunthorpe United. Career Carver was born in Blackburn, Lancashire, England. He joined Accrington Stanley in May 2010, signing a two-year apprenticeship. In April 2012, Carver signed his first professional contract. He made his professional debut for Stanley on 28 April, coming on as a substitute for Charlie Barnett in a 5–1 defeat to Bristol Rovers. Nicky Featherstone
Nicky Lee Featherstone (born 22 September 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays as midfielder for club Hartlepool United. He is also capable of playing as a winger and has previously played for Hull City, Grimsby Town, Hereford United, Walsall, Scunthorpe United and Harrogate Town. Omar Bogle
Omar Hanif Bogle (born 26 July 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for side Newport County. A youth product of West Bromwich Albion, Birmingham City and Celtic, Bogle made his senior debut for Hinckley United in 2012. He then played three years for Solihull Moors, winning the Conference North Player of the Year and the Golden Boot in 2014–15. Mark John Shelton (born 12 September 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for National League club Oldham Athletic. Oluwarotimi "Timi" Mark Odusina (born 28 October 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Bradford City. Career Odusina signed his first professional contract with Norwich City in 2016. In January 2019, Odusina signed on loan with National League side AFC Fylde. Gary Daniel Liddle (born 15 June 1986) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre-back or midfielder for Northern Premier League side South Shields. He has played in the English Football League for Hartlepool United, Notts County, Bradford City, Chesterfield, Carlisle United and Walsall. Liddle came through the ranks at Middlesbrough where he won the FA Youth Cup in 2004. Jamie Michael Sterry (born 21 November 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays for Doncaster Rovers. Ben Killip
Ben Killip (born 24 November 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Hartlepool United. Career Whilst playing for Norwich City, Killip spent two loan spells at Lowestoft Town. He signed for Grimsby Town in July 2017. He was released by Grimsby at the end of the 2017–18 season. Killip signed for Braintree Town on 31 July 2018. He moved to Hartlepool United in May 2019. In the 2019–20 season, Killip struggled for form after making several mistakes and lost the number one spot to Mitchell Beeney, however he soon regained his place in the team.
