2021–22 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Men's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men's basketball team represented the Georgia Institute of Technology during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by sixth-year head coach Josh Pastner and played their home games at Hank McCamish Pavilion as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Yellow Jackets finished the season 12–20 overall and 5–15 in ACC play to finish in fourteenth place. As the fourteenth seed in the ACC tournament, they lost to Louisville in the first round. They were not invited to the NCAA tournament or the NIT. Josh Pastner
Joshua Paul Pastner (born September 26, 1977) is an American college basketball coach who is currently the men's basketball head coach at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Pastner was a player on the 1997 Arizona Wildcats men's basketball national championship team, and an assistant coach at the University of Arizona under Lute Olson and at the University of Memphis under John Calipari. He was named the 2013 ''Sporting News'' Conference USA Coach of the Year, and the 2017 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Basketball Coach of the Year. Early and personal life Pastner was born in Glen Dale, West Virginia, in the state's northern panhandle, the son of Marla and Hal Pastner. DePaul Blue Demons Men's Basketball
The DePaul Blue Demons men's basketball program is the NCAA Division I intercollegiate men's basketball program of DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. The team competes in the Big East Conference. DePaul's last NCAA tournament victory was in 2004. Jose Alvarado (born April 12, 1998) is a Puerto Rican-American professional basketball player for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Moses Anthony Wright (born December 23, 1998) is an American-born naturalized Cypriot professional basketball player for Žalgiris Kaunas of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) and the EuroLeague.
