The 2021–22 season was Pyunik's 28th season in the Armenian Premier League. Season events On 14 June, Pyunik announced the signing of Aram Kocharyan from Lori, with Edgar Movsesyan joining from Van the next day. Two days later, 17 June, Vaspurak Minasyan joined Pyunik from Alashkert, with Hayk Ishkhanyan signing from Shirak on 19 June. On 21 June, Pyunik announced the signing of Yuri Gareginyan from Noah. On 24 June, Pyunik announced the signing of Juninho on a free transfer after he'd left his previous club Paraná in February 2021. On 29 June, Zoran Gajić joined Pyunik from Zbrojovka Brno. On 10 July, Pyunik announced the signing of Grigor Meliksetyan from Ararat Yerevan, with Erik Vardanyan returning to the club on a season-long loan deal from Sochi the next day. Football Club Pyunik Yerevan ( hy, Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ Փյունիկ Երևան, Futbolayin Akumb P’yunik Yerevan), commonly known as Pyunik ("Phoenix (mythology), Phoenix"), is an Armenian professional sports club based in the Kentron District, Kentron neighbourhood of Yerevan. Hamrun (; ) is a town in the Southern Region of Malta, with a population of 9,244 as of March 2014. The people The townspeople are traditionally known as ''Tas-Sikkina'' (literally meaning 'of the knife' or 'those who carry a knife') or as ''Ta' Werwer'' (which literally means 'those who scare' or more colloquially, 'the scary ones'). Bruno Andrade de Toledo Nascimento (born 30 May 1991) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back. Erik Vardanyan
Erik Vardanyan ( hy, Էրիկ Վարդանյան; born 7 June 1998) is an Armenian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Pyunik On 24 October 2019, Vardanyan extended his contract with Pyunik. On 27 October 2019, Vardanyan was sent off in a 4–2 defeat away to Ararat Yerevan, pushing the referee Henrik Nalbandyan and swearing at the opposition fans in the process.
