2021–22 Eastern Washington Eagles Men's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Eastern Washington Eagles men's basketball team represented Eastern Washington University in the Big Sky Conference during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Eagles, led by first-year head coach David Riley, played their home games on campus at Reese Court in Cheney, Washington. David Riley (basketball)
David Riley (born November 28, 1988) is an American college basketball coach who is the current head coach of the Eastern Washington Eagles men's basketball team. Playing career Riley grew up in Palo Alto, California. He played college basketball at Whitworth University under Jim Hayford. While starring for the Pirates, Riley was a three-time All-Northwest Conference first-team selection and finished his career ranked fourth all-time in points with 1,664 along with making four NCAA Division III men's basketball tournament appearances, including two Sweet Sixteens and an Elite Eight. Coaching career When Hayford accepted the head coaching position at Eastern Washington, Riley followed as a graduate assistant coach. The Western Washington Vikings represent Western Washington University in intercollegiate sports in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference of the NCAA Division II with the exception of the women's rowing team which is a member of the Northwest Collegiate Rowing Conference. Mountlake Terrace, Washington
Mountlake Terrace is a suburban city in Snohomish County, Washington, United States. It lies on the southern border of the county, adjacent to Shoreline and Lynnwood, and is north of Seattle. The city had a population of 19,909 people counted in the 2010 census. Tanner John Groves (born May 22, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for the Cairns Taipans of the Australian National Basketball League (NBL). He played college basketball for the Eastern Washington Eagles and Oklahoma Sooners. Early life and high school career Groves was born in Spokane, Washington. The Western Colorado Mountaineers are the athletic teams that represent Western Colorado University, located in Gunnison, Colorado, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. Sumas () is a city in Whatcom County, Washington, United States. It had a population of 1,307 as of the 2010 census.
