2021–22 Bradford City A.F.C. Season
The 2021–22 season is Bradford City's 119th year in existence and third consecutive season in League Two. Along with the league, the club will also compete in the FA Cup, the EFL Cup and the EFL Trophy. The season covers the period from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022. Bradford City A
Bradford is a city status in the United Kingdom, city and the administrative centre of the City of Bradford district in West Yorkshire, England. The city is in the Pennines' eastern foothills on the banks of the Bradford Beck. Bradford had a population of 349,561 at the 2011 Census for England and Wales, 2011 census; the second-largest population centre in the county after Leeds, which is to the east of the city. Guiseley A
Guiseley ( ) is a town in metropolitan borough of the City of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is situated south of Otley and Menston and is now a north-western suburb of Leeds. It sits in the Guiseley and Rawdon ward of Leeds City Council and the Pudsey parliamentary constituency. At the 2001 census, Guiseley with Rawdon had a population of over 21,000, increasing to 22,347 at the 2011 Census. The A65, which passes through the town, is the main shopping street. Gareth Evans (footballer, Born 1988)
Gareth Charles Evans (born 26 April 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger for Radcliffe. He can also play as a midfielder and at right back. Evans began his career as a youth player with both Manchester United and Crewe Alexandra. He went professional in 2006, but struggled to break into the Crewe first team and went on loans to Leigh RMI in 2006, and Alsager Town in 2007, then moved to his hometown club, Macclesfield Town in that same year. Lee Anthony Angol (born 4 August 1994) is an English professional footballer who plays for Sutton United. Career Wycombe Wanderers On 2 July 2012, Angol was signed by Wycombe Wanderers after leaving Tottenham Hotspur, having been a regular in their academy team. He made his professional debut on 11 August as a 100th-minute substitute for Matt Bloomfield against Watford in the League Cup first round, which finished as a 1–0 defeat after extra time. Abobaker Mamoun Eisa (born 5 January 1996) is a Sudanese professional footballer who plays as a winger for EFL League Two side Grimsby Town. Eisa began his career playing non-league football with St Albans City, Uxbridge and Wealdstone. In 2018 he moved into professional football signing with Shrewsbury Town. Penalty Kick (association Football)
A penalty kick (commonly known as a penalty or a spot kick) is a method of restarting play in association football, in which a player is allowed to take a single shot at the goal while it is defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. It is awarded when an offence punishable by a direct free kick is committed by a player in their own penalty area. The shot is taken from the penalty mark, which is 11 m (12 yards) from the goal line and centred between the touch lines. Oliver Samuel Crankshaw (born 12 August 1998) is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger for club Altrincham. Career Crankshaw started his career with Preston North End before joining Northern Premier sides Ramsbottom United and then Clitheroe. Kian Scales (born 9 November 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Scunthorpe United. Scales began his career with Bradford City, and spent time on loan at Bradford (Park Avenue) and Farsley Celtic, before signing for Scunthorpe United. Career Scales began his career playing for the Bradford City youth team, joining at the age of 12 or 13. In March 2020 he moved on loan to Bradford (Park Avenue). Horsfall Stadium
Horsfall Stadium is a sports stadium just off Halifax Road in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, south-west of the city centre. It is the home of Bradford (Park Avenue) A.F.C. It was originally built as a running track in 1931, and was upgraded for football when Bradford (Park Avenue) moved to the stadium in 1994. The track was upgraded to a synthetic surface at the same time. In 2007, a number of improvements were made to the ground, including a new directors' and sponsors' room, a meeting room for the players and management, a new medical room, kit room and toilets. In addition, fully monitored CCTV has been installed to protect the facility and prevent vandalism. The main stand was also refurbished with seats, 1,800 of them coming from Lord's Cricket Ground.
