The 2021–22 Bahraini Premier League (also known as Nasser Bin Hamad Premier League for sponsorship reasons), was the 65th top-level football season in Bahrain. The season started on 25 August 2021 and ended on 16 May 2022. Team location League table Results Relegation play-offs In this edition of the relegation play-offs, the eighth and ninth-placed teams of the Bahraini Premier League were joined by the third and fourth-placed teams of the 2021–22 Bahraini Second Division in a four-team group stage where each team played each other once. The top three teams of the group qualified for the 2022–23 edition of the Bahraini Premier League and the bottom team qualified for the 2022–23 edition of the Bahraini Second Division. The relegation play-offs started on 6 May and ended on 16 May 2022. Bahraini Premier League
The Bahraini Premier League is the main football competition in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Currently known as the Nasser bin Hamad Premier League, the first season was held in 1957. The winners of the domestic championship qualify for the AFC Cup. The championship is currently contested by 12 clubs. Structure Current structure 12 clubs currently play a two round robin set of fixtures totaling 22 games in order to determine the league champions. Although games are played on a home and away basis, almost all games are played at the National Stadium. The eleventh and twelfth-placed clubs are relegated with the ninth and tenth enter the relegation play-offs. Mahdi Faisal Ebrahim Al-Humaidan ( ar, مَهْدِيّ فَيْصَل إبرَاهِيْم حُمَيْدَان; born 19 May 1993) is a Bahraini footballer who plays as a forward for Al Khaldiya and the Bahrain national team. International career Al-Humaidan was included in Bahrain's squad for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup in the United Arab Emirates. Mohamad Al Hallak
Muhammad ( ar, مُحَمَّد;  570 – 8 June 632 CE) was an Arab religious, social, and political leader and the founder of Islam. According to Islamic doctrine, he was a prophet divinely inspired to preach and confirm the monotheistic teachings of Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and other prophets. Ismail (Ismaeel) Abdullatif Ismail Hassan, also spelled Abdullatif ( ar, إسماعيل عبد اللطيف; born September 11, 1986), is a Bahraini professional football forward, currently playing for Al Khalidiya SC and the Bahrain national football team, and appeared for the team in the 2007, 2011 and 2015 AFC Asian Cup finals.
