Adelaide United Football Club is a professional soccer club based in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. The club participates in the A-League Men under licence from Australian Professional Leagues (APL). The club was founded in 2003 to fill the place vacated by Adelaide City and West Adelaide in the former National Soccer League (NSL), and is now the sole team from the state of South Australia in the A-League. Adelaide United's home ground is Coopers Stadium, formally Hindmarsh Stadium. Adelaide United holds the record for the largest win in an A-League game. Adelaide defeated North Queensland Fury 8–1 at Hindmarsh Stadium on 21 January 2011. Louis D'Arrigo
Louis Joseph D'Arrigo (born 23 September 2001), is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Adelaide United. He is of Maltese descent. Club career Adelaide United D'Arrigo made his professional debut in a Round 21 clash against Sydney FC, replacing Ryan Strain in the 86th minute as Adelaide lost the game 2–0. Javier 'Javi' López Rodríguez (; born 21 January 1986) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a full-back or central midfielder for Australian club Adelaide United FC. He spent the vast majority of his professional career with Espanyol, having signed in 2007. During his spell, he appeared in 283 competitive matches. Zach Paul John Clough (born 8 March 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Adelaide United. Clough started his career at Bolton Wanderers, having played for them since the age of eight. He established himself as a regular goal-scorer for Bolton, playing 68 games before being sold to Nottingham Forest. Yaya Dukuly (born 17 January 2003) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a winger for Championnat National 2 side Reims B. Born a Liberian refugee in Guinea, he has represented Australia at youth level. Club career Melbourne City On 9 September 2019, Dukuly signed a two-year scholarship deal with Melbourne City. Joe Kato Caletti (加藤 カレッティ 丈, ''Katō Karetti Jō'', born 14 September 1998) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a central midfielder for Brisbane Roar. A-League Men (known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand. At the top of the Australian league system, it is the country's premier men's competition for the sport. Nathan Konstandopoulos (born 26 June 1996) is an Australian footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Melbourne Victory in the A-League. Hiroshi Ibusuki
is a Japanese professional footballer who plays for Adelaide United as a striker. Club career Born in Nagareyama, Chiba, Ibusuki played all his youth football with Kashiwa Reysol. On 2 January 2009, aged not yet 18, he signed a four-year contract with Spanish club Girona FC. George Henry Raymond Blackwood (born 4 June 1997) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a striker.
