Fallen Angel (Tix Song)
"Fallen Angel" is a song by Norwegian singer Tix. He represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam and progressed to the grand final. The song is an English translation of the song "Ut av mørket" ("Out of the darkness"), which he performed on the first semi-final of ''Melodi Grand Prix 2021'', and was released on 15 January 2021. The song peaked at number 2 on the VG-lista chart. On 20 February 2021, Tix performed the song under the English title "Fallen Angel" and won the final of ''Melodi Grand Prix 2021''. "Fallen Angel" was released the same day. Background The song is about struggling with depression, that is made even worse by being rejected by a girl who Tix had feelings for. Tix compares depression to "fighting with demons inside a hole in my heart" in the song. Daði Freyr
Daði Freyr Pétursson (; born 30 June 1992), known professionally as Daði Freyr or simply Daði, is an Icelandic musician living in Berlin, Germany. As the frontman of Daði & Gagnamagnið ( ), he was due to represent Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the song "Think About Things", before the event was cancelled in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, he represented Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song " 10 Years", finishing in fourth place. Early life Daði was born in Reykjavík but grew up in Denmark until the age of nine, then his family moved to Iceland and settled in the Southern Region, first in Laugaland and later in Ásahreppur. The Mamas
The Mamas are a Sweden, Swedish-United States, American Soul music, soul and Gospel music, gospel group. They won Melodifestivalen 2020 with their single "Move (The Mamas song), Move", which reached number one in Sweden in March 2020. Career The group consists of Ashley Haynes (born 19 January 1987 in Washington, D.C.), Loulou Lamotte (born 16 April 1981 in Malmö) and Dinah Yonas Manna (born 5 September 1981 in Stockholm). Founding member Paris Renita left the group in 2019. As a four-piece, the group provided Backing vocalist, backing vocals for John Lundvik's Melodifestivalen 2019 entry "Too Late for Love (John Lundvik song), Too Late for Love". Anders Wrethov, professionally known as Anderz Wrethov, is a Swedish songwriter and producer. Biography Wrethov was born in Trelleborg and grew up in Vellinge. He graduated from Musikhögskolan in Malmö in 2002. He sings and plays the piano and the guitar. He began learning to play the guitar at the age of seven, and also took piano lessons. In the 1980s he started listening to hard rock music, and playing the electric guitar. Joy Neil Mitro Deb, (born 14 January 1979) is a Swedish songwriter and producer. He has worked with artists such as Fifth Harmony, JoJo, MiC Lowry and Akon. Currently, Deb is signed to Northbound Music Publishing in Stockholm, where he is a member of the production team “The Family” together with Linnea Deb and Anton Hård af Segerstad. Toussaint Michael Chiza, better known as Tusse, is a Congolese-Swedish singer who Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021, represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. Life and career Chiza was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo When he was five years old he had to flee his country. He lived in Uganda in a refugee camp with his aunt for three years. He came to Sweden with his aunt as a refugee at just 8 years old. In Sweden, he started to live with a family in the village of Kullsbjörken where he has resided since 2015. He participated as a singer in the Swedish talent show Talang 2018 (as Tousin Chiza) which was also broadcast on TV4; he made it to the semifinals before being eliminated. Melodifestivalen 2021 was the 61st edition of the Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen. The competition was organised by Sveriges Television (SVT) and took place over a six-week period between 6 February and 13 March 2021. Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in Sweden, COVID-19 pandemic, all shows of this edition took place in the Annexet in Stockholm, and without an audience. The winner of the competition was Tusse with the song "Voices (Tusse song), Voices", who represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, where he came fourteenth with 109 points. The format of the competition consisted of 6 shows: 4 heat rounds, a second chance round and a final.
