2021 Zinsser SmartCoat 200
The 2021 Zinsser SmartCoat 200 was the 10th race of the 2021 ARCA Menards Series season, the fourth race of the 2021 Sioux Chief Showdown, and the 21st iteration of the event. The race was held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 in Marne, Michigan at Berlin Raceway, a permanent oval-shaped racetrack. The race took the scheduled 200 laps to complete. At race's end, Daniel Dye of GMS Racing would dominate, leading almost every single lap and win his first ever ARCA Menards Series win. To fill out the podium Ty Gibbs of Joe Gibbs Racing and Corey Heim of Venturini Motorsports would finish second and third, respectively. 2021 ARCA Menards Series
The 2021 ARCA Menards Series season was the 69th season of the ARCA Menards Series, a stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States. The season began at Daytona International Speedway with the Lucas Oil 200 on February 13 and ended with the Reese's 150 at Kansas Speedway on October 23. Ty Gibbs was crowned the series champion, having won ten times and finished in the top four in 19 of 20 races. This season also featured a historic first, as Fox pit reporter Jamie Little became the first woman to serve as a TV play-by-play announcer in motorsports history, as she took over that role for the network's ARCA races. Mike Basham (born June 20, 1968) is an American professional stock car racing driver who competes part-time in both the ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series East, driving the No. 10/12 Ford/ Toyota for Fast Track Racing. He is the son of long time ARCA Menards Series driver Darrell Basham. Racing career In 2001, Basham would make his debut in the ARCA Re/Max Series at Gateway, driving the No. 34 Chevrolet for father Darrell's family owned team, finishing 28th due to overheating issues. The West Michigan Whitecaps are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. They are located in Comstock Park, Michigan, a suburb of Grand Rapids, and play their home games at LMCU Ballpark.
