Doksy
Doksy (german: Hirschberg am See) is a town in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 5,200 inhabitants. It is known for Lake Mácha and its summer vacation resort. Administrative parts Villages of Břehyně, Kruh, Obora, Staré Splavy, Vojetín, Zbyny and Žďár are administrative parts of Doksy. Vojetín forms an exclave of the municipal territory. Etymology The town's name is derived from the Old English word '' wiktionary:dox'' ("dark"), which refers to the dark places in the swamps near Dokský stream. The German name ''Hirschberg am See'' means "deer hill by lake". A deer is seen on the symbols of the town. Geography Doksy is located about southeast of Česká Lípa and southwest of Liberec. He won gold medals in the middle distance and in the relay at the 2010 Junior World Orienteering Championships in Aalborg. Simona Aebersold (born 13 April 1998) is a Swiss orienteering competitor. She is the daughter of Christian Aebersold, who won the World Orienteering Championships 3 times. Career Aebersold dominated the Junior World Championships between 2015 and 2018, achieving her first gold medal at the age of 17 in the Sprint distance. Andrine Benjaminsen (born 23 August 1995) is a Norwegian Orienteering, orienteer and ski orienteering, ski orienteer. Career Benjaminsen represented Norway at the 2017 World Orienteering Championships in Tartu, Estonia, where her best result was ninth place in the long distance. Maja Alm
Maja Møller Alm (born July 10, 1988) is a Danish orienteering and Athletics competitor who has won seven World Championships and two World Games titles. She is especially known for her four gold medals on the sprint distance, where she has won the title four years in a row: 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. She is also a medalist from the Junior World Championships. Since 2006 she has been coached by Danish national coach Lars Lindstrøm. Alm is remarkable for her dominant running speed, which gives her a great advantage over other competitors at the sprint distance. Florian Howald (born 20 August 1991) is a Swiss orienteering competitor. At the 2016 World Orienteering Championships in Strömstad he won a silver medal in mixed sprint relay with the Swiss team, along with Rahel Friederich, Martin Hubmann and Judith Wyder.
