2021 Winners Open
The 2021 WTA Romanian Open, known as the Winners Open due to sponsorship reasons, was a professional women's tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts at the Winners Sports Club. It was the 1st edition of the tournament held in the city of Cluj-Napoca and was a part of the 2021 WTA Tour. Finals Singles * Andrea Petkovic def. Mayar Sherif, 6–1, 6–1. WTA 250 Tournaments
WTA 250 tournaments is a category of tennis tournaments in the Women's Tennis Association tour, implemented since the reorganization of the schedule in 2021. Earlier these events were classified as WTA International tournaments, WTA International Tournaments. As of 2021, WTA 250 tournaments include events with prize money of approximately $250,000. The ranking points awarded to the winners of these tournaments are 280. This compares to 2,000 points for winning a Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slam tournament ("major"), up to 1,500 points for winning the WTA Finals, 1000 points for winning a WTA 1000 tournament, and 470 for winning a WTA 500 tournament. This system differs slightly from that used for the men's ATP Tour, which has ATP Tour 250 events with 250 points for the winner (similar to WTA 250 tournaments), and two higher tiers of ATP tournaments offer 1000 and 500 points for winning, respectively. Viktoriya Tomova
Viktoriya Konstantinova Tomova ( bg, Виктория Константинова Томова, born 25 February 1995) is a professional Bulgarian tennis player. Tomova reached a career-high WTA singles ranking of 89 achieved on 31 October 2022. Her best doubles ranking is world No. 254, achieved on 11 August 2014. Katarzyna Kawa (; born 17 November 1992) is a Polish professional tennis player. Her career-high WTA rankings are 112 in singles, achieved November 2020, and world No. 70 in doubles, set on 26 September 2022. Tímea Babos (; born 10 May 1993) is a Hungarian professional tennis player who is a former world No. 1 in doubles.
