Tissot Velodrome
The Velodrome Suisse is an indoor velodrome in Grenchen, Switzerland. The hall covers an area of 8000 square meters and has a capacity for 1800 spectators. The velodrome itself is meters long, made of Siberian spruce wood and is applied according to the UCI standards. The banked curve is 46% steep and includes a vertical drop of 7 meters. The velodrome primary serves as a training center for the Swiss team and for the junior selection, but the track is also available to recreational cyclists. The interior consists of three different surfaces, which can also be used for other sports, fairs and concerts but also for cultural and economic events. In addition, the Velodrome Suisse houses a gym, a training center with medical and physio practice, the BMC Concept Store, Restaurant and Catering, and 30 hotel beds. Emily Kay
Emily Kay (born 7 September 1995) is a track and former road cyclist. After several years representing Great Britain and England at international competitions, Kay transferred allegiance in late 2019, and began representing Ireland on the UCI World Cup Track cycling circuit. She currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team . Junior career Kay partook in the 2009 School games and won the individual pursuit and finished second in the Keirin. At the 2010 national youth and junior track championships, Kay placed second in the junior points race, just three points behind Laura Trott. Eukene Larrarte (born 13 September 1998) is a Spanish cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team . She initially played football, before switching to compete in cycling and joined the local team ''Gipuzkoa Ogi Berri.'' In 2016, Larrarte won her first Spanish championship title, when she won the team pursuit together with Ane Iriarte, Ziortza Isasi and Irene Usabiaga.
