2021 UCLA Bruins Football Team
The 2021 UCLA Bruins football team represented the University of California, Los Angeles during the 2021 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was led by fourth-year head coach Chip Kelly and competed as members of the South Division in the Pac-12 Conference. Entering this season, Nike became the new apparel sponsor for the team, replacing former supplier Under Armour, and the Bruins' football uniforms bore the Jordan Brand. In August, UCLA announced that digital tickets would replace printed tickets for entry to all games at the Rose Bowl. The Bruins finished their regular season with an 8–4 overall record, and accepted a bid to the Holiday Bowl, where they were due to face North Carolina State. Chip Kelly
Charles Edward Kelly (born November 25, 1963) is an American football coach who is the head coach of the UCLA Bruins. He came to prominence as the head coach of the Oregon Ducks from 2009 to 2012, whom he led to four consecutive BCS bowl game appearances, including the 2011 BCS National Championship Game. This success led to him serving as a head coach in the National Football League (NFL) for four seasons, three with the Philadelphia Eagles (2013–2015) and one with the San Francisco 49ers (2016). Kelly only made the playoffs in his first season with Philadelphia, and he was fired from both teams. After leaving the NFL, Kelly returned to college football in 2018 to coach UCLA. Greg Dulcich
Gregory Paul Dulcich ( hr, Dulčić; born March 26, 2000) is an American football tight end for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at UCLA and was twice an all-conference selection in the Pac-12, including first-team honors in 2021. He was selected in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Early years Dulcich was born on March 26, 2000, and grew up in Glendale, California. He attended Saint Francis High School in La Cañada Flintridge. As a junior, he had 30 receptions for 406 yards and four touchdowns. Zach Charbonnet
Zachariah Charbonnet (born January 8, 2001) is an American football running back. He played college football for the Michigan Wolverines before transferring to UCLA Bruins in 2021. He was a two-time all-conference selection in the Pac-12 with the Bruins, earning first-team All-American honors as a senior in 2022. Early years Charbonnet was born in 2001 and grew up in Camarillo, California. His mother, Seda, is part Cambodian, Chinese and French and immigrated to the United States from France.
