2021 Tour Of Belgium
The 2021 Tour of Belgium (known as the 2021 Bâloise, Baloise Belgium Tour for sponsorship purposes) was the 90th edition of the Tour of Belgium road bicycle racing, road cycling stage race, which took place from 9 to 13 June 2021. The category UCI race classifications#Road racing, 2.Pro event formed a part of the 2021 UCI Europe Tour and the 2021 UCI ProSeries. After being upgraded from a category 2.HC event after the 2019 season, the race was set to feature in the 2020 UCI ProSeries, inaugural edition of the UCI ProSeries, but after the cancellation of the 2020 edition, this edition was its UCI ProSeries debut. Teams Eight of the nineteen UCI WorldTeams, nine UCI Professional Continental, UCI ProTeams, and four UCI Continental teams made up the twenty-one teams that participated in the race. 2021 UCI Europe Tour
The 2021 UCI Europe Tour was the 17th season of the UCI Europe Tour. The season began on 24 January 2021 with the Trofeo Luis Puig, Clàssica Comunitat Valenciana 1969 – Gran Premio Valencia and ended on 24 October 2021 with the Ronde van Drenthe. Throughout the season, points were awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determined how many points are awarded to the top finishers; the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points were awarded. Knokke-Heist (; french: Knocke-Heist) is a municipality in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Heist-aan-Zee, Knokke, Duinbergen, Ramskapelle and Westkapelle. On January 1, 2006 Knokke-Heist had a total population of 34,063. Robbe Ghys (born 11 January 1997) is a Belgian road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . As a junior, Ghys participated at the 2015 UCI Road World Championships in the Men's junior road race. He competed on the track at the 2016 UEC European Track Championships in the team pursuit and elimination race events. Beveren () is a municipality in the Belgian province of East Flanders which comprises the towns of Beveren, Doel, Haasdonk, Kallo, Kieldrecht, Melsele, Verrebroek and Vrasene. The ''Times Colonist'' is an English-language daily newspaper in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. It was formed by the Sept. 2, 1980 merger of the ''Victoria Daily Times'', established in 1884, and the ''British Colonist'' (later the ''Daily Colonist''), established in 1858 by Amor De Cosmos who was later British Columbia's second Premier.
