2021 Texas State Bobcats Baseball Team
The 2021 Texas State Bobcats baseball team represented Texas State University during the 2021 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Bobcats played their home games at Bobcat Ballpark and were led by second-year head coach Steven Trout. They were members of the Sun Belt Conference. Steven Trout
Steven L. Trout (born October 4, 1984) is an American college baseball coach and former infielder. He is the head baseball coach of Texas State University. Trout played college baseball at Texarkana College from 2004 to 2005 before transferring to Texas Christian University where he played for coach Jim Schlossnagle in 2006 and 2007. Playing career Trout attended Hooks High School in Hooks, Texas. Trout played for the school's varsity baseball, football, basketball and golf. Trout then enrolled at Texarkana College, to play college baseball for the Texarkana Bulldogs team. As a freshman at Texarkana College in 2004, Trout had a .312 batting average, 8 home runs, and 25 RBIs. As a sophomore in 2005, Trout batted .353 with four home runs. In the 2006 season as a junior, Trout hit .286 with 2 home runs and 33 RBIs. It was established in 1998 to serve as the second high school in the Leander Independent School District due to the rapid growth in the area. Cedar Park is a city and a major suburb of Austin in the state of Texas, approximately to the north-west of the center of Austin. According to the 2020 U.S. Census, the city's population was 77,595. McAllen High School
McAllen High School is one of four high schools serving the McAllen, Texas area as a part of the McAllen independent school District. It houses over 2200 students from grades 9–12. New Boston, Texas
New Boston is a city in Bowie County, Texas, Bowie County, Texas, United States. Boston was named for an early storekeeper in the settlement, W.J. Boston. The coming of the railroads led to the location of two more Bostons. A depot was built about four miles north of Boston and was named New Boston. The original Boston then became Old Boston.
