The 2021 Tampa Bay Rowdies season is the club's twelfth season of existence, their fifth in the United Soccer League, and third in the USL Championship. Including the previous Tampa Bay Rowdies, this is the 28th season of a franchise in the Tampa Bay metro area with the Rowdies moniker. Including the now-defunct Tampa Bay Mutiny, this is the 34th season of professional soccer in the Tampa Bay region. Tampa Bay Rowdies
The Tampa Bay Rowdies are an American professional Association football, soccer team based in St. Petersburg, Florida. The club was founded in 2008 and first took the pitch in 2010. Since 2017, the Rowdies have been members of the USL Championship in the second tier of the American soccer pyramid. They formerly played in USSF Division 2 (in 2010) and the North American Soccer League (2011–2017), North American Soccer League (NASL) (from 2011 to 2016), which were also second-tier leagues. Aarón Guillén (born 23 June 1993) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a defender for USL Championship club Tampa Bay Rowdies. Career Professional After four years of college soccer at Florida Gulf Coast University, Guillén signed a homegrown player contract with FC Dallas on January 5, 2016. Max Lachowecki (born June 30, 1992) is an American soccer player. Early life Youth soccer Lachowecki grew up in Evansville, Indiana, playing with local youth soccer teams and for Reitz Memorial High School, where he was a four-year starter and led the team in scoring for his final three seasons with a total of 79 goals and 39 assists. Career College Lachowecki spent his entire college career at the University of Notre Dame. He made a total of 85 appearances for the Fighting Irish and tallied 8 goals and 9 assists.
