2021 Spielberg Formula 3 Round
The 2021 Spielberg Formula 3 round was the third round of the 2021 FIA Formula 3 Championship. It took place at the Red Bull Ring and featured three races in support of the 2021 Austrian Grand Prix from July 2nd to 4th. Classification Qualifying Caio Collet initially set the fasted lap, but was soon deleted giving Dennis Hauger pole for race 3, and Logan Sargeant received pole for race 1. ; Notes * – Roman Staněk was penalized after the session for impeding Lorenzo Colombo. Red Bull Ring
The Red Bull Ring is a motorsport race track in Spielberg, Styria, Austria. The race circuit was founded as Österreichring (translation: Austrian Circuit) and hosted the Austrian Grand Prix for 18 consecutive years, from to . It was later shortened, rebuilt and renamed the A1-Ring (A Eins-Ring), and it hosted the Austrian Grand Prix again from to . When Formula One outgrew the circuit, a plan was drawn up to extend the layout. Parts of the circuit, including the pits and main grandstand, were demolished, but construction work was stopped and the circuit remained unusable for several years before it was purchased by Red Bull's Dietrich Mateschitz and rebuilt. Alexander Alexandrovich Smolyar ( rus, Александр Александрович Смоляр; born 19 July 2001) is a Russians, Russian racing driver who most recently competed in the FIA Formula 3 Championship for MP Motorsport. Racing career Lower formulae 2017 was Smolyar's debut season in single-seater racing. He competed for SMP Racing in the 2017 F4 Spanish Championship, Spanish and 2017 SMP F4 Championship, Russian Formula 4 Championships, finishing 3rd in both. He scored a total of 24 podiums, with all of his race wins coming in the Spanish Championship. Kaylen Frederick
Kaylen Frederick (born 4 June 2002) is an American-German race car driver who is currently racing in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship for ART Grand Prix. He was the last champion of the British Formula 3 Championship in 2020. Career Karting career Frederick began his racing career in karting at the age of seven, where he remained active until 2015. Lower formulae In 2016 Frederick switched to formula racing at the age of fourteen, where he competed in the F1600 Championship Series with Team Pelfrey. Due to his age he had to miss the first six races, but was nevertheless successful with a win at the Pittsburgh International Race Complex and three second place finishes. Enzo Fittipaldi da Cruz (born 18 July 2001) is a Brazilian-American racing driver, who is set to compete in the FIA Formula 2 Championship with Carlin. After signing with Carlin, he became a member of the Red Bull Junior Team in November 2022, and was a previous member of the Ferrari Driver Academy. He is grandson of two-time Formula 1 champion Emerson Fittipaldi by his daughter Juliana and Carlos da Cruz, and brother of racing driver Pietro Fittipaldi. HWA Team
HWA Team, also known as HWA RACELAB, is the auto racing team of HWA AG, a German company based in Affalterbach, that also develops and builds vehicles and components for Mercedes-AMG race cars. It is named after founder Hans-Werner Aufrecht. History HWA was responsible for managing the AMG Mercedes team in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM). Matteo Nannini (born 10 July 2003) is an Italian- Argentine racing driver who currently competes in Indy NXT for Juncos Hollinger Racing. His father is a first cousin of former Formula One driver Alessandro Nannini and of singer Gianna Nannini. Victor Martins (born 16 June 2001) is a French-Portuguese racing driver and member of the Alpine Academy. He won the 2020 Formula Renault Eurocup and the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Championship. Oliver "Olli" Caldwell (born 11 June 2002) is a British racing driver who is competing for Alpine in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Clément Novalak (born 23 December 2000) is a French- Swiss racing driver set to race for Trident in the 2023 Formula 2 Championship, having previously drove for MP Motorsport. He previously raced in the FIA Formula Three Championship for Carlin and Trident and won the 2019 British F3 Championship with Carlin.
