2021 Spielberg Formula 3 Round
The 2021 Spielberg Formula 3 round was the third round of the 2021 FIA Formula 3 Championship. It took place at the Red Bull Ring and featured three races in support of the 2021 Austrian Grand Prix from July 2nd to 4th. Classification Qualifying Caio Collet initially set the fasted lap, but was soon deleted giving Dennis Hauger pole for race 3, and Logan Sargeant received pole for race 1. ; Notes * – Roman Staněk was penalized after the session for impeding Lorenzo Colombo. The Red Bull Ring is a motorsport race track in Spielberg, Styria, Austria. The race circuit was founded as Österreichring (translation: Austrian Circuit) and hosted the Austrian Grand Prix for 18 consecutive years, from to . It was later shortened, rebuilt and renamed the A1-Ring (A Eins-Ring), and it hosted the Austrian Grand Prix again from to . When Formula One outgrew the circuit, a plan was drawn up to extend the layout. Parts of the circuit, including the pits and main grandstand, were demolished, but construction work was stopped and the circuit remained unusable for several years before it was purchased by Red Bull's Dietrich Mateschitz and rebuilt. Kaylen Frederick (born 4 June 2002) is an American-German race car driver who is currently racing in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship for ART Grand Prix.
