The 2021 Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 presented by Scott County Tourism was the 19th Stock car racing, stock car race of the 2021 ARCA Menards Series, the tenth and final race of the 2021 Sioux Chief Showdown, and the 25th iteration of the Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 (Salem), event. The race was held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 in Salem, Indiana at Salem Speedway, a permanent paved oval-shaped racetrack. The race took the scheduled 200 laps to complete. On the final restart on lap 156, Jesse Love of Venturini Motorsports would take the lead and lead every lap afterwards to win his first career ARCA Menards Series win and his only win of the season. Meanwhile, Ty Gibbs of Joe Gibbs Racing, who would finish second, would win the 2021 Sioux Chief Showdown championship, winning the championship by 22 points. Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 (Salem)
The Herr's Snacks 200 is an Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) race at Salem Speedway, currently held in the fall. ARCA first held a race at Salem in 1979 before returning from 1987 to 1989. Races have been consistently held in the fall since 1992 and in April from 1996 to 2019. The April 2020 race was cancelled due to COVID-19, and only the fall race remained on the schedule in subsequent years. Frank Kimmel is the only multi-time winner of the April event, taking four victories. He also won the fall event five times, totaling nine wins at the track. Tim Steele was victorious four times at the track, including winning the fall event three times. Tom Hessert III and Bob Strait are also multi-time winners of the fall event.
