2021 SPAR Challenge Series
The 2021 SPAR Challenge was the sixth edition of the netball Challenge Tournament organised by Netball South Africa. The series was contested by three South African teams (the senior national team, the national "B" team known as the President's XII, and the under-21 team known as the Baby Proteas), the Ugandan national team, and the Namibian national team. The tournament was originally scheduled to occur in January 2021, though it was postponed to March due to a resurgence of COVID-19 cases in South Africa. The tournament is sponsored by SPAR, is broadcast by SuperSport and was held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre. Cape Town International Convention Centre
The Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) is a convention centre in Cape Town, South Africa. The centre opened in June 2003. It is run as a partnership between the City of Cape Town and the Western Cape government. Venues The centre takes up approximately on the city’s Foreshore and is within easy reach of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, major hotels and the rest of the city centre. The CTICC is served by the Westin Grand Hotel located on the same premises in the north-western corner, and is situated close to the city centre. Renske Stoltz is a South African netball player. Early life Stoltz was born in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga before shifting with her family to Rustenburg, North West (South African province), North West. She has played netball for the past seventeen years and attended Hoërskool Rustenburg. Career Stoltz earned her first cap against New Zealand in the Netball Quad Series. She was also part of the under-19 Baby Proteas squad. She also participated in the Brutal Fruit Netball Cup for the North West Flames and represented her university in the local varsity championship.
