2021 Rugby League World Cup Group C
Group C of the 2021 Rugby League World Cup is one of the four groups in the 2021 Rugby League World Cup, which will be played in 2022. The group comprises automatic qualifiers New Zealand national rugby league team, New Zealand and Lebanon national rugby league team, Lebanon as well as 2018 Americas Rugby League Championship, 2018 Americas Champions Jamaica national rugby league team, Jamaica and Ireland national rugby league team, Ireland who qualified through the 2019 Rugby League European play-off tournament, 2019 European play-off tournament. The pool draw was made on 16 January 2020. The fixtures were announced on 21 July 2020. A revised schedule was issued on 19 November 2021 following the postponement of the tournament from 2021 to 2022. The 2021 Rugby League World Cup (RLWC2021) was a collection of world cups in the sport of rugby league, held in England from 15 October to 19 November 2022. England won hosting rights for the competition on 27 October 2016. The bid received £25 million UK government support, partnered with the UK Cabinet Office as part of a commitment to the Northern Powerhouse, with 87 percent of all matches to be held in Northern England, northern towns and cities.
